I have known that I wanted to be a teacher since I was 6 years old. Both of my parents are teachers, as well as multiple relatives on both sides of my family. I have loved school since before I was able to attend it, and that hasn't changed so far. I am so ready for the rest of my life to be in education.
I believe that every single student should feel the love of their teacher, and realize that they have unlimited potential. I think that this is even more important as they begin school, that students find that internal motivation to become learners for life, not just for a passing grade. I strive to make an environment of acceptance in my classroom. All students will accept that there are some things are easier for them than they are for other students, and that things are easier for other students than they are for them. Everyone is valued for the important part that they play in the classroom environment.
I wanted to become a teacher when I realized that I was good at helping my classmates understand what we were learning in class. I noticed that I loved helping the students, even though I wasn't the teacher, and that I had SO much fun doing it!
